vvibe is a platform that empowers users, creators, and builders to connect and create beyond physical boundaries. We want our community to thrive on our platform with the many features we provide to support their creativity, free expression, and meaningful connections. We make play powerful and the metaverse accessible.

However, when it comes to providing a safe environment for our community, we have firm limits. At vvibe, we do not allow content or conduct that impedes other user’s safety.

Our Community Guidelines apply to all content, behavior, and interactions in our platform, including: IDs, bios, handles, hashtags, comments, feed, posts, live streams, video (and video descriptions), Crews, Studio items, Booth, World, and any other vvibe product or feature, as well as external links that direct users to other sites or forms.

We are committed to being transparent, fair, and firm in our enforcement of Community Guidelines, grounded by our key policy values of safety, inclusion, diversity, dignity, and creativity. Our key policy verticals include:

Minor Safety

At vvibe, safeguarding the safety and well-being of minors is our topmost priority. Violating our minor safety policy is regarded as one of the most serious infringements of vvibe’s community guidelines.

We implement stringent prohibitions against any content of a sexual, suggestive, or abusive nature that involves individuals under the age of 18, or those who appear to be minors, even if they are represented in digitally-created vvibe avatars.

In situations involving Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA), we respond with immediate and permanent actions, including the banning of responsible accounts, and we promptly report cases of child sexual exploitation, grooming, and illegal content to the appropriate authorities.

Furthermore, when assessing accounts for potential violations of our Community Guidelines, we take into account off-platform behaviors that may pose a threat to minors, provided there is credible evidence to substantiate such claims. Rest assured, at vvibe, your safety, especially the well-being of minors, is our utmost concern.

Following activities are strictly forbidden:

Sexual Activities and Nudity

Our primary goal is to establish a respectful, inclusive, and secure environment within our community. Consequently, we have a zero-tolerance policy for sexually explicit content. This regulation applies to content from the real world, digitally created content, and content featuring vvibe avatars.

Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

Any sharing of content that endorses, normalizes, or glorifies non-consensual sexual acts, sexual violence, or sex trafficking is strictly forbidden. Accounts found posting and sharing non-consensual intimate media will face immediate and permanent bans.

Nudity and Adult Sexual Activities

The posting of pornographic, mature, explicit, or sexually suggestive content is not allowed. However, we may consider exceptions for nudity in cases of artistic, educational, or medical content under certain circumstances.

Suicide and Self-Harm

We have a profound concern for the well-being of every member within our community, be it our users, creators, or builders. We fully recognize the significance of promoting mental health awareness and acknowledge that sharing stories related to contemplating self-harm can be instrumental in helping individuals access the support they require.

Nevertheless, we are acutely aware of the potential impact that content pertaining to suicide or self-harm may have on those who come across it. Consequently, we have imposed limitations on content that unintentionally encourages suicide or self-harm.

For clarification, we define suicide as the act of taking one’s own life, and self-harm encompasses self-injury.

Our policies strictly prohibit any content that portrays, promotes, normalizes, or glorifies hazardous actions that could lead to suicide, self-harm, or disability, including explicit images or digital representations of self-harm. Moreover, we do not tolerate any sensitive or hurtful content or conduct targeting individuals who have died by suicide, engaged in self-harm, or are survivors of suicide.

If you are grappling with thoughts of suicide or self-harm or are aware of someone seriously contemplating suicide, we strongly advise you to immediately reach out to your local emergency services or a suicide prevention organization. In cases where we identify immediate and credible threats of suicide or self-harm, we may alert local emergency services as part of our commitment to ensuring safety within our community. Your well-being is of paramount importance to us.

Violence

Our foremost concern is to establish a welcoming environment for our community, and we are steadfast in our commitment to preventing real-world harm by prohibiting threats and the incitement of violence. Additionally, we maintain strict guidelines against the dissemination of gore or graphic content that may elicit shock or disgust among viewers.

Threats of Violence and Violent Behavior

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of threats, incitement, or glorification of violence or violent behavior. Our community guidelines firmly forbid content or actions that endanger or threaten the safety of others. In cases where we detect credible threats of violence that could result in real-world harm, we may take the necessary steps to inform law enforcement agencies.

Violent, Sensitive, and Graphic Content

We do not permit the publication of content that is excessively gory, offensive, or violent, particularly if it includes elements of shock, cruelty, extreme violence, serious abuse, or harassment. Our commitment is to maintain a respectful and safe environment for all members of our community.

Dangerous Activities and Dangerous Organizations

The safety of our community, both on and off our platform, is of paramount importance to us. Consequently, we have strict guidelines in place to prohibit content that encourages perilous actions, extremist ideologies, or extremist organizations.

Dangerous Acts and Challenges

We strictly disallow content that endorses, portrays, encourages, or glorifies hazardous activities such as amateur stunts, dangerous challenges, or dares that may result in severe injury, loss of life, or damage to property. Furthermore, we do not tolerate the dissemination of health misinformation that could potentially pose significant health risks.

Terrorism and Extremism

Our stance is one of zero tolerance regarding organizations, individuals, or content that advocate or participate in violence, terrorism, or extremism. We do not permit the presence of members affiliated with terrorist organizations, hate groups, criminal organizations, or gangs on our platform, regardless of the nature of their content. Our commitment is to maintain a safe and secure environment for our community by actively curbing such activities.

Hateful activities

Our commitment revolves around providing a secure platform for self-expression, forging meaningful connections, and fostering creativity. We advocate for diversity of perspectives as long as it adheres to principles of civility, respect, and inclusivity.

vvibe firmly opposes any form of hateful activities. We define such activities as content, speech, or behavior that targets, diminishes, disrespects, incites violence against, isolates, or dehumanizes individuals based on the following protected characteristics:

Harassment and Bullying

We strictly prohibit content, behavior, or actions that are intended to disgrace, ridicule, embarrass, torment, menace, reveal private information, or engage in bullying tactics that stifle and intimidate others. This policy extends to all our features and products, and we emphasize that the use of avatars for harassment or stalking is strictly forbidden.

Respect for boundaries is crucial. “No” means “no,” whether it is conveyed directly or indirectly, verbally or through gestures. If another user communicates the need to cease interaction, blocks you, or distances themselves from you in our virtual spaces, it is imperative to recognize and respect their request to stop your actions.

While we permit critical commentary concerning public figures and discussions on matters of public interest, we do not condone severe threats or abusive language, including sexual harassment, targeted at public figures. Our goal is to foster healthy discussions while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

Illegal Activities, Regulated Goods and Services

We place limitations on transactions, promotions, or solicitations related to goods and services that are either illegal or subject to regulations on our platform. Our commitment is to uphold and adhere to local laws in all the regions where we operate, and we expect our community to follow suit. Additionally, we reserve the right to curtail the sale or exchange of goods and services that have not been approved by vvibe, irrespective of their legal status.

The roster of goods, services, and items subject to restriction under this policy encompasses, among others:

drugs and controlled substances
pharmaceutical drugs
alcohol/tobacco, including e-cigarettes
counterfeit goods and services
human trafficking, human exploitation
endangered species
sexual services
stolen goods
fraudulent services
weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, bombs (including instructions to make them).
personal data and personally identifiable information (e.g., full name, phone numbers, physical addresses, email addresses, unique identifiers, social security information, national identification number, or any other personally identifiable information)

Platform Integrity

At vvibe, we grant our community the freedom to express their identity in the virtual realm through our avatar-based services. However, this freedom comes with an essential responsibility to uphold the integrity and safety of our platform.

Impersonation

vvibe empowers you to embody any persona you desire, unrestrained by the confines of the physical world, using avatars that may or may not resemble your real-life self.

Nonetheless, we strictly prohibit impersonation when it is motivated by harmful, fraudulent, or predatory intentions, aiming to deceive or exploit others.

Inappropriate or deceptive interactions intended to groom, deceive, or lure minors off-platform are strictly banned. We do not permit accounts impersonating private individuals, DalyByte’s employees, or misrepresenting their affiliation with any organization. Parody and fan accounts dedicated to celebrities are acceptable, provided they clearly indicate their nature in the profile and username.

Fake Engagement

We do not tolerate content or activities that attempt to artificially inflate popularity and engagement through deceptive or fraudulent methods.

Misinformation

Harmful or malicious misinformation or disinformation that incites hatred, induces panic, undermines civic integrity, poses physical health risks, or denies the occurrence of tragic events is strictly prohibited. We remove content containing false information regardless of intent if it has a harmful impact.

Spam, Fraud, and Scams

Scams, spams, or any form of fraudulent tactics designed to deceive or coerce others into sending money that negatively affect the user experience, are not allowed. False advertisements, including those related to coin sales and purchases, are strictly forbidden, both on and off our platform. Any offer or solicitation to distribute or acquire coins outside of direct purchases from the vvibe official app or approved DalyByte events or activities is prohibited.

Platform Security

Attempts to compromise the security, reliability, and user experience on our platform, including hacking, distributing files or links containing viruses or harmful content, or employing automated means to disrupt the user experience (e.g., macro programs, robots, bots, etc.), are strictly prohibited. Sharing vvibe account information with others is also against our policies.

Copyright

We kindly request that you show respect for the copyrights, trademarks, and other legal rights of others. Content found in violation of copyright and trademark protections will be promptly removed.

If you come across any activity or content that contravenes our Community Guidelines, our Terms of Use, or any of our other policies, we encourage you to report it to us. Content that runs afoul of our Community Guidelines will be taken down, and in some instances, accounts may face temporary bans based on the severity of the violations.

Accounts repeatedly breaching our Community Guidelines will face permanent bans. For certain violations, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy, meaning a single infraction can result in an immediate and permanent account ban. Such violations encompass offenses like sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats of real-world physical harm, or terrorist content.

Should you wish to challenge our decisions concerning your account, you have the option to submit a review request. Upon a thorough examination of your request, we will provide you with the outcome.

Our Community Guidelines will continually evolve in collaboration with our safety partners and experts to better safeguard our community. We are committed to keeping our community informed about any changes to the Guidelines. Contacting Law Enforcement vvibe trust and safety

In cases where online abuse exceeds the scope of our Community Guidelines, a robust network of support services is readily available, including non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and law enforcement agencies.

While reporting an online crime may seem daunting, it presents an opportunity to hold wrongdoers accountable and protect your online community. If you possess information about or suspect that someone has endured abuse, please reach out to the relevant authorities. You can initiate contact through phone or in-person channels. Here are some guidelines to help you navigate this process.

Document everything

Keep records of the abuser’s social media handle.

Note the date(s) and time(s) of each incident.

Utilize screenshots to document instances of abuse. While the instinct may be to delete or ignore offensive behavior or content, maintaining a record of the abuse will be crucial when addressing the situation with local authorities.

Prioritize your safety

If you are facing online threats, remain vigilant about protecting your physical well-being.

Avoid divulging any personal information or details that could disclose your identity or location.

Assess whether you know the identity of the online abuser or if they remain anonymous.

Seek support from a trusted adult.

Reporting to authorities

In cases of immediate danger, dial 911 (or your local emergency number).
